MIXADEMIC
DJ Mixademic (aka Domenic) has over 20 years of experience as a DJ in the Toronto music scene.
His passion to DJ began as a teenager when he made mixtapes for his friends (on REAL cassettes). This enjoyment of playing music led to DJing at his university pub and working part-time DJing for weddings and corporate events.
During lockdown, Mixademic branched out into the world of livestreaming with his popular show, the Retro Metro.
Currently, Mixademic continues to DJ/MC live events in the Greater Toronto Area. He is known for not only playing at private parties and corporate events, but has become a popular DJ for school fun fairs.
“With the name MIXADEMIC, I combined two components of my DJ style: MIX and ACADEMIC. MIX because I like to mix different genres of music for the ultimate experience. ACADEMIC because I am always learning about music.”
